Job Summary

The Office of Enrollment Management is actively seeking a qualified candidate to provide essential marketing & communications support. This role will be tasked with developing, implementing, managing and measuring the effectiveness of comprehensive and strategic communications strategies that support the Office of Enrollment Management. 

 

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • Provide support to communications coordinator. 

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Oversee the development and planning for communication strategies that engage, inform and inspire our target audience. Individuals may be assigned to focus on specific populations that include:
    • Parents and families
    • Sophomores and Juniors (High School)
    • Incoming Freshmen & Transfer students
    • Graduate Students
    • Student Financial Services
  • Oversee SEO, SEM and the Google advertisement strategy, and provide suggestions for improvement when needed.
  • Oversee and implement advertisement purchases for platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook
  • Supervise and guide the Communications Coordinator, overseeing their development and effectively delegating tasks.
  • Assist with the development of compelling communication materials, including emails, social media content, print materials, and website updates.
  • Demonstrate a keen understanding of campaign success through insightful analytics.
  • Monitor and analyze engagement metrics, continuously refining communication strategies for optimal impact
  • Under the supervision of the Director, Enrollment Communications, work collaboratively with campus partners to ensure that messaging is accurate, consistent and aligned with the organization’s goals and values
  • Provide photo and video support, as needed for events

Required Skills/Abilities

  • Proven experience in communications or a related field
  • Strong writing, editing and proofreading skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Experience with social media platforms and content management systems
  • Excellent critical thinking skills
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
  • Have a thorough understanding of digital marketing and communication principles and techniques, including advertising, SEO, and analytics
  • Be able to work independently, meet deadlines, and work flexible hours (including occasional evenings and weekends, as necessary)
  • Experience with graphic design and video editing is a plus

Education, Certificates, Licenses, & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, (visual) communications, English or graphic design
  • Experience with CRM systems (Technolutions’ Slate experience is preferred)
  • Demonstrated record producing excellent printed and digital material that conveys a message with clarity

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to lift and carry equipment and supplies weighing up to 20 pounds.
  • Must be able to bend, stoop, and reach.
  • Manual dexterity to efficiently operate a computer keyboard and other business machines.
  • Adequate hearing to communicate effectively in person and by phone.
